I was hanging around the old Plaza Hotel taking pictures of the Hansom cabs and the horses in the snow when turning around I was quite taken by this strong combination of shadow and light created by the transitional light failing on the buildings. Through the use of cropping and the quality of light, I like how the sculture seems to come to life even though dwarfed in real life by the manmoth structures.
